For five years, cars were steered into 18-wheelers on New Orleans highways on purpose. Behind 31 of those crashes was a personal injury lawyer who paid people to get hit. Danny Keating Jr. pleaded guilty and was sentenced on October 15, 2026, to 32 months in federal prison and $657,405.34 in restitution.
