NEW DETAILS: Florida Jet BREAKING APART Before Crash, NTSB Says, As 20-Year-Old's Mayday REVEALED

- by Statewide Files,
- in Florida
NEW DETAILS: The NTSB says there are signs this Learjet was breaking up before it hit a busy Florida road, killing all nine people on board, including two young children. Less than 30 seconds after the crew was cleared to climb, a 20-year-old co-pilot was calling mayday. Her last words to the controller: "We're gonna crash into the ground." The controller's reply went unanswered: "I'm here with you. Talk to me."
The NTSB has not determined a cause. Statements about the tail and the weather are early findings and expert opinions, not conclusions.
